2020 Cabernet Franc

Aroma: Cabernet Franc has consistently been a beautifully aromatic wine for us here at Cave B, and our 2020 vintage is no exception. Ripe Bing cherries, pumpkin spice, and rich strawberry preserves are most prevalent on the nose with hints of graphite and oak toast.

Taste: The palate initiates with well-integrated flavors of rich dark fruits and spice, mingling together in harmony. The finish is a lovely mix of mild oak toast and pumpkin spice, that lingers beautifully on the palate.

Food Pairing: Grilled pork loin, with a garlic and fresh oregano marinade topped with a dried cherry and black currant compote would work tremendously well with this wine.
