2020 Syrah

Aroma: Dried currants, blackberry compote, hints of cocoa nibs and white pepper are just a few of the delicious aromas that spill out of the glass as you bring it to your nose. This wine shows a beautiful balance of dark fruits and earthy aromas, while not being overripe or over-extracted.

Taste: The palate presents a tremendous balance of ripe fruits, earthy flavors, spice and texture with a delightful tannin and acid balance. The finish is lovely and graceful as the fruit lingers into an earthy tea and tobacco essence.

Food Pairing: This wine is asking to be paired with a perfectly grilled Rib Eye steak topped with balsamic caramelized onions and maybe a little bit of sweet gorgonzola.
