2020 Caveman Red

Aroma: Cinnamon spiced cherry compote, along with  aromas of  dried Mission fig, blackberry jam and a hint of Medjool dates offer delicious aromatic complexity to our 2020 Caveman Red.   

Taste: The palate offers a medium complexity with a nice tannin and acid balance to compliment the earthy and jammy flavors of the wine. The finish extends on the palate with undertones of black tea.

Food Pairing: I think this wine would be tremendous with smoked paprika seared salmon served over brown butter and mushroom spaetzle.
