2022 Viognier

Aroma: Canary melon kicks off the lovely bouquet of our 2022 Viognier, followed by some ripe cantaloupe and Honeydew melon. Aromas of stone fruits complement the melon notes seamlessly, with just a hint of honeysuckle as you continue to breathe in the beautiful aroma.

Taste: The palate is crisp and creamy all at once with beautiful acid integration. The Melon notes are the predominant flavors on the attack of the palate. As you allow the wine to evolve while you sip it, the stone fruit flavors come in the form of crisp nectarines that are not super ripe, and hints of apricot.

Food Pairing: I can picture this wine with a wood fired pizza made with either white sauce or garlic olive oil and topped with fresh mozzarella, caramelized onion, thin sliced pears and finished with minced scallion greens.
