2022 Gewurztraminer

Aroma: The aromas of our 2022 Gewürztraminer are classic for the varietal. Hints of nutmeg spice and a touch of cinnamon lace accompanied by wonderful aromas of lychee fruit, Satsuma oranges and Key lime.

Taste: To date this is the driest Gewürztraminer that we have released at Cave B. As the wine was fermenting the wonderful integration of spice and fruit flavors continued to evolve to end with an almost completely dry white wine. Lychee and citrus notes lead the way leaving a lovely palate of baking spices that linger most wonderfully on the palate.

Food Pairing: I really want cheese with this wine, all types of cheese. Parmigiano Reggiano drizzled with aged balsamic, triple cream brie topped with a dollop of apricot preserves and even a creamy Point Reyes blue cheese.
