2021 Cabernet Franc

Aroma: Raspberry jam is the first aroma that comes out of the glass, fresh ripe blackberries and “Red Vines” red licorice work their way in with black tea and hints of fresh ground pepper rounding off the nose of this beautifully complex Cabernet Franc.

Taste: The palate offers everything from the aroma in flavor form with blackberries and red licorice leading the way, then the raspberry jam moves in, slowly giving way to the earthy tea and black pepper characters. 

Food Pairing: Grilled pork tenderloin sliced into medallions and topped with caramelized onions and blackberry compote with cheesy grits or creamy mashed potatoes to accompany would be amazing with this wine.
