2021 Cuvee du Soleil

Aroma: This wine has a tremendous blend of earthy and dark fruit aromas right out of the gate. Graphite, black tea and hints of fresh cracked black pepper mingle beautifully with aromas of mixed berry jam, raspberry fruit leather and candied chestnuts.

 

Taste: The palate adds notes of red licorice and a hint of anise to those flavors of berry jam, tea, black pepper and earthy chestnuts. This wine is a true expression of our vineyards. The selection of the barrels that go into our premium blends is our favorite thing to do on our small but mighty winemaking team. We choose the barrels with love to deliver to you the best blend we can from our vines.

 

Food Pairing: This wine is meant to be paired with hearty dishes. Braised red meat with a rich demi-glace will pair wonderfully. If you don’t eat red meat, a wild mushroom risotto accompanied with roasted root vegetables would also make a wonderful pairing.
