Taste: On the palate, the wine is instantly approachable and easy drinking, showing a good amount of structure without being heavy. The spicy notes of the wine act as bookends, with the fruit flavors of ripe blackberries and macerated cherries taking charge of the mid-palate.
Food Pairing: Grilled pork loin marinated in garlic and rosemary, then sliced and topped with a cherry compote would be lovely with this wine.
