2022 Cabernet Franc

Aroma: The nose of our 2022 Cabernet Franc initiates with some lovely earthy tones of leather, baking spice, and just a hint of pipe tobacco. The fruit notes are darker than what is typical for our Cabernet Franc showing bits of black cherry jam, and dried plum as well as macerated ripe blueberries.

Taste: The palate is gorgeous and full without being overly tannic. Both the earthy and fruit notes encountered on the nose are very present on the palate as well.

Food Pairing: I would love to have this wine with a gourmet burger that has a bit of blue cheese, crispy bacon, and some sweet, caramelized onion.
