Aroma: Our second vintage of Montepulcianois just beautiful. These vines are quicklyfinding our climate to be a great place to grow.The nose gives impressions of fresh ripeblackberries and hints of pie cherries. Theearth notes come off as a bit of pencil lead andblack pepper.
Taste: The palate offers medium structure,with balanced lean acidity and good tannins,making this a wonderful food wine. Theblackberries and cherries are most definitelypresent on the palate along with those earthyflavors and wonderful tannins and acid.
Food Pairing: This wine is begging to bepaired with hearty pasta, made with a creamybolognese or creamy marinara sauce if youdon’t eat meat. With lots of ParmigianoReggiano grated over the top of course!!!
