2023 Montepulciano
Aroma: Our second vintage of Montepulciano is just beautiful. These vines are quickly finding our climate to be a great place to grow.The nose gives impressions of fresh ripe blackberries and hints of pie cherries. The earth notes come off as a bit of pencil lead andblack pepper.
Taste: The palate offers medium structure,with balanced lean acidity and good tannins,making this a wonderful food wine. The blackberries and cherries are most definitely present on the palate along with those earthy flavors and wonderful tannins and acid.
Food Pairing: This wine is begging to be paired with hearty pasta, made with a creamy bolognese or creamy marinara sauce if you don’t eat meat. With lots of Parmigiano Reggiano grated over the top of course!!!
